Yes, the light is properly refracted here. Refraction occurs when light passes through a medium with a different optical density, causing it to change direction. In this case, the light appears to be bending as it passes from one medium to another, indicating that refraction is taking place. The angle at which the light is bending suggests that the refraction is occurring correctly. **

The spectral color that is most strongly refracted is violet. This is because violet light has the shortest wavelength among the visible colors, causing it to bend the most when passing through a medium like glass or water. As a result, violet light is refracted more than other colors, leading to a greater separation of colors in phenomena like rainbows or prisms. **

Yes, light is refracted near a black hole due to the intense gravitational field that bends the path of light rays. This phenomenon is known as gravitational lensing, where the light from distant objects is bent as it passes near a black hole. The gravitational force of the black hole causes the path of light to curve, creating distorted and magnified images of objects behind the black hole. **

Light is refracted when it passes from one medium to another with a different optical density, causing it to change direction. Light is reflected when it bounces off a surface without entering the medium. **

Light is refracted by window glass, but the amount of refraction is minimal due to the small difference in the refractive index between air and glass. This means that the change in the direction of light as it passes through the glass is not easily noticeable to the naked eye. However, if the angle of incidence is large, such as when light hits the glass at a steep angle, then refraction becomes more noticeable. Overall, while light is refracted by window glass, the effect is generally not very noticeable under normal circumstances. **

Blue light is more strongly refracted than red light in dispersion because it has a shorter wavelength. According to the equation for the index of refraction, n=c/v, where c is the speed of light in a vacuum and v is the speed of light in the medium, the index of refraction is inversely proportional to the wavelength of light. This means that shorter wavelengths, such as blue light, will have a higher index of refraction compared to longer wavelengths, such as red light. As a result, blue light is more strongly bent or refracted when passing through a medium, such as a prism, compared to red light. **

No, this statement is not true. In fact, the opposite is true. The longer the wavelength of light, the less it is refracted when passing through a medium. This is because longer wavelengths of light, such as red light, have less interaction with the atoms and molecules in the medium, causing them to be refracted less compared to shorter wavelengths, such as blue light. Therefore, the longer the wavelength, the less the light is refracted. **

The refracted angle is less in air compared to water by approximately 12 degrees. This is due to the difference in the refractive indices of air and water. The refractive index of water is higher than that of air, causing light to bend more when it enters water, resulting in a larger refracted angle. **
