A horizontal throw with a stone involves the stone being launched parallel to the ground, with no vertical component to its initial velocity. As a result, the stone follows a straight-line path, maintaining a constant horizontal velocity until it is affected by air resistance and gravity. The trajectory of the stone forms a parabolic shape as it travels through the air, eventually hitting the ground due to the force of gravity. The horizontal throw can be described using the principles of projectile motion, taking into account the initial velocity, angle of launch, and the effects of air resistance and gravity. **

The horizontal throw is horizontal because there is no vertical force acting on the object during the throw. When an object is thrown horizontally, the only force acting on it is gravity, which pulls the object straight down towards the ground. This results in the object following a horizontal path as it moves forward, without any vertical component to its motion. **
